Andrew Ellsworth
President & Chief Executive Officer
Andrew Ellsworth, the founder of Virtual Air Canada, has been President and Chief Executive Officer since April 1998. Prior to Virtual Air Canada, Mr. Ellsworth started his career as a virtual pilot for Noble Airways and Air Scotia, in which later he became the airline's Chief Pilot. The expertise and experience in virtual aviation Mr. Ellsworth possesses at the country's largest and longest running virtual airline is recognized amongst the top VAs in the world. |

Michael Chan
Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer
Michael Chan took on the duties of Executive Vice President & COO in January 2009. Mr. Chan was formerly Vice President - Marketing, for Virtual Air Canada. He is well known in the flight simulation community for his years of service to the general public. Furthermore, he has helped lead Virtual Air Canada to the next generation of flight simulation, creating world class web systems and content delivery. Prior to his position at Virtual Air Canada, Mr. Chan was a pilot for Pacific West Airways, a staff member at both well respected flight simulation news organizations, the FSINN and FSCITY. Employed in the airline industry, Mr. Chan has a wealth of experience in providing excellent customer service for travelers and tourists around the world. Mr. Chan's involvement in website management spans across several organizations varied from summer camps, sports and flight simulation over the last few years in addition to his past role as webmaster of Virtual Air Canada. |

Matthew Fernandes
Senior Vice President, Operations
Matthew Fernandes joined Virtual Air Canada in 2002 and assumed the role of Senior Vice President in January 2009. He was previously Vice President - Training. Mr. Fernandes started out as a first officer of small aircraft and worked his way up to a captain of heavy aircraft with a Cat.2.
Prior to Virtual Air Canada, Mr. Fernandes was apart of the VCAF (Virtual Canadian Air Force). Within the VCAF, Matt was posted to 4 wing Cold lake 410 Sqd. Were he earned the rank of Capt. and flew the CF-18. He was a CF-18 was a instructor in training and was part of the Virtual Snowbirds and also painted the aircraft as well as the CF-18. |

Victor Sussman
Chief Pilot
Victor Sussman first became interested in virtual aviation using the Cessna in an early version of Microsoft Flight Simulator. He joined Virtual Air Canada in 2004 flying the Dash 8 for VAC Jazz later moving up to the CRJ. After a brief stint on the 737-200 with (now defunct) Virtual Zip Air, he began flying for Virtual Air Canada's mainline services. He assumed his role as Chief Pilot on the Boeing 777 in October 2006, transitioning from his his previous assignment as a Senior Captain on the B767. In the real world, he is a Ph.D. student in Chemistry, and upon completion of his studies he will be moving to take a position as a research chemist at a major multinational chemical corporation. |
