Virtual Air Canada is a community of flight simulator pilots who want more realism added to their flights. The virtual airline tries to simulate reality as closely as possible, and therefore strives to simulate actually working for an airline. Virtual Air Canada is a 100% non-profit organization. Virtual Air Canada is currently Canada's leading virtual airline, and is among the top VAs in the world.

Founded in April 1998, Virtual Air Canada has been in Canada's virtual skies for more than 10 years. We have a long and deep history within the virtual airline community. Many of today's virtual airline executives began their career at Virtual Air Canada.

In 2005, the FlightSim Aviation Zone awarded Virtual Air Canada as one of the Top 10 Virtual Airlines in the world.  This rigorous and highly competitive process determined that Virtual Air Canada was well managed, a large and high quality VA, with its main criteria in 1) website (domain name, features, clarity); 2) general and added information page (resources for its members); 3) high number of active pilots; 4) overall professional and other features (fleet in VA livery) realism, support, downloads etc, professionalism of management and staff.

Global Network

Virtual Air Canada is Canada's national virtual airline carrier since April 1998.  Virtual Air Canada provides scheduled services to more then 21 Canadian, 30 American, 54 in Asia, the Middle East, Australia, the Caribbean, Mexico and South American cities.   Virtual Air Canada in total operates more than 1300 virtual flights per day around the globe.  Expansion in Canadian and foreign destinations are anticipated to add more selection and flexibility for our virtual pilots.

Pilot Community

Virtual Air Canada has served more than 10000+ virtual pilots since 1998 and currently has the highest active number of registered virtual pilots around the world.  As of December 2008, Virtual Air Canada has more than 1500+ active pilots, making it the largest community of flight enthusiasts in Canada to date.
